I’m still in complete awe and amazement that it’s actually real. My piece for the Fall Workshop for graduate school at Newhouse won the Momenta scholarship! I don’t usually toot my own horn, but this project was a month’s work of getting to know the Carter’s, and a full day of non-stop editing at the workshop. I’m excited for the future and overwhelmed by this honor. New Orleans 2011 here I come! Please check out the “final” (its never completely done) multimedia film below. And a big thanks to Coburn Dukehart at NPR and Janna Dotschkal for their valuable lessons on editing and storytelling at the workshop… ya’ll rock!
